Name     : Dr. Riptide


The following cheats were discovered and tested on the Shareware
Version, but I should think they will work on both Registered and
UnRegistered Versions.


Command Line Cheat
------------------

Start the game with one of the following options :-

RIPTIDE -START x           : Where x is the starting level
RIPTIDE -MANDICH           : Runs the game with debug mode enabled


With DEBUG MODE enabled you can use the following keys :-

P - Dumps screenshot to a file called RIPTIDE.PCX
Z - Exits level and takes you to the next (giving you the level code)

Press ESC to see the menu and you'll have a new menu option called
DEBUG which has various options on it.

F2 & F3 also have some effect but the outcome is unsure !



Edit Cheat
----------

Edit the RIPTIDE.EXE file and change the desired offsets to alter
the way you play :-

$9896 - Amount of Air (normally set to $95)

$6A54 - Shield Strength (normally set to $3C)

$65EE - Number Of Lives (normally set to 2)


At $98AD to 90909090 - For Infinite Air Supply

At $9A36 to 90909090 - For Infinite Shields

At $780E to 90909090 - For Infinite Lives

At $A39B to 9090 - For Infinite Usage Of Jason Sub

Internal Cheat.
---------------

During the game press ESC to goto the menu.  Select "Password" in
the "Game" option and enter LETSRIP!  A message should appear
saying that cheat mode is ON.

Now that the cheat mode is ON, you can press any of the below keys
to activate different cheats :-

               A   =   Adds to air supply
               S   =   Adds to shields
               J   =   JASON probe
               H   =   JASON fire  (JASON shoots when you do)
               R   =   Rapid fire  (Auto-fire)
               F   =   Full fire   (largest projectile)
               U   =   Top fire    (Upward shooting)
               G   =   God mode    (Indestructibility)
