Name: RISE OF TRIAD The Master Code: DIPSTICK Type this to enable all the rest of the cheats. Unless you type it, none of them will work. CHOJIN: "Woundless with Weapons" mode. In other words, invincibility, and unlimited ammo for you. Listed in the manual. GOTO: Warp to any level. Brings up a menu of all the level names and asks you to select one. Plays some loud polka music in the background. The shareware version seems to have two levels from an episode 2 (not the registered E2): "Too Tall", a 16-story level, and "Play Room". SIXTOYS: "Items Aplenty!" Similar to TAB+I in Wolfenstein and its sister games. Gives you bulletproof armor, all four keys, full health, and 100,000 points. TOOSAD: Gives you God Mode. FLYBOY: Gives you Mercury Mode. BADTRIP: Gives you Shrooms Mode. BOING: Gives you Elasto Mode. GOOBERS: ?? It just restarts the whole fraggin' episode at E1A1. WHACK: "Ouch!!!!" Takes away 10% (one point) of health, but only if CHOJIN (invincibility) is off. SPEED: Enables/Disables "Autorun". You don't have to press to run while in this mode. Convenient. PANIC: Prints the message "Back to normal. Ah." Seems to make you lose all your weapons except the single pistol! DIMON: Turns on light diminishing (same as menu choice). DIMOFF: Turns off light diminishing (same as menu choice). LONDON: Turns on fog effects (cute code there). NODNOL: Turns off fog effects (this is creative). SHINEON: Turns on light sourcing. SHINEOFF: Turns off light sourcing. GOGATES: Presumably as in "Bill Gates", this dumps you to DOS immediately. GOARCH: Skip current level and go to end level/bonus screen, the message on which says something to the effect of "Level wussed out on!" GOTA386: Turns floors and ceilings off (cruel joke to you 386ers). GOTA486: Turns floors and ceilings on. SHOOTME: Gives you bulletproof armor. BURNME: Gives you asbestos armor. LUNGDUNG: Gives you a gas mask (another creative code word). HUNTPACK: Prints the message "Outfit Player!". Gives you a heat seeker with 5 missiles, all bullet weapons, all four keys, and 100% health. 86ME: Suicide command -- you just die. REEN: Does the weird screen-twirling effect once. JOHNWOO: Gives you dual pistols. PLUGME: ?? Doesn't seem to do anything. VANILLA: Gives you a bazooka with infinite rounds. I found this one myself. How? Well, it was right in there with chocolate, strawberry, and pistachio. :) HOTTIMES: Gives you a heat seeker with infinite rounds. BOOZE: Gives you a drunk missile launcher with infinite rounds. FIREBOMB: What do you think? It gives you a firebomb with infinite rounds. NOTE: This is strange, but there doesn't seem to be a code for the flamewall. Hmmmm.... SEEYA: Prints the message "The Hand of God.". In essence, this is God Mode without the voice effects, the towering height -- OR the time limit (that's the good part)! 'The Hand' replaces your missile weapon and it has unlimited charges. RIDE: The missile cam. Listed in the manual. WHERE: Toggles HUD in the upper right corner of the screen. Displays the player's X,Y coordinates as well as his/her angle. RECORD: Record a demo on any level in the game. When you are finished, use the STOP command (see below). WARNING: Demo implementation is not in version 1.0 of RotT. The code for recording and playing back of demos is still a little shaky, so you might get some unexpected side-effects when you use this or the next two demo commands. You can NOT play a demo during the opening screens. STOP: Stop recording a demo in progress and saves to disk as DEMOx.ROT., where 'x' is the number you enter when the game prompts you for the demo number (1-4) to save to. PLAY: Playback a recorded demo. Prompts for the demo number to play (1-4).
